Admission Procedure
- Candidate can apply online within the time specified by the admission committee.
- Before filling the application, form candidates must ensure his/her eligibility.
- Application form must be filled and submitted on or before its last date.
- Merit list of Gujarat nursing admission 2018 will be published on the official website.
- The seat will be allotted on the basis of categories.
- Government seats:75% of the total approved seats of Gujarat professional nursing and allied medical educational courses in the unaided schools, colleges or institutions.
- Management seats: 25% seats of the total approved seats including 15% Non –resident Indian seats of Gujarat professional nursing and allied medical educational courses in the unaided schools, colleges or institutions.
- If any management seat remains vacant, such seat will be filled in as the available Government seat.
Eligibility for admission (B.Sc.Nursing)
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Minimum Educational Qualification
- Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics,
- Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of
- Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
- English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
- Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
- Students shall be admitted once in a year.
Eligibility for admission GNM-General nursing & Midwifery
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination.
- Registered Nurse with pass mark
- 5% of the total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates
- Students shall be medically fit.
